Carnival for St. Thomas is April 29 - May 5, 2024. Adult’s Parade day is Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Is registration open for St. Thomas Carnival 2024?

Yes, costume registration is currently open. Interested persons may register by visiting the “Register” page.

When can I view Infernos Carnival Troupe’s costumes?

Costumes for Carnival 2024 are posted on the “Our Costumes” page. The mas camp’s location will be disclosed at a later time.

What information do I need for registration?

For registration, you need the following:

Can I order extra pieces with my costume?

Costumes may come with options for larger headpieces, backpacks and other embellishments at an additional cost.  These options will be detailed on the registration page along with their costs.

What do the various acronyms throughout the website mean?

ICT = Infernos Carnival Troupe

PIF - Pay in Full

FL = Front Line

ML = Mid Line

BL = Back Line

HB = Head Band

HP = Head Piece

BP = Back Pack

When do I need to pay for my costume?

A minimum non-refundable deposit must be paid upon registration.

Registration closes when each section's capacity has been met or on the listed deadline (whichever comes first).

The final payment's due date is to be determined and will be emailed to our members, announced on our website as well as on our social media platforms.

Is there a miinimum age requirement for troupe participation?

Yes, the minimum age to register with the Infernos Carnival Troupe is 18 years of age.

What does the Inferno’s costume package include?

Our costume packages include;

  • A full decorated quality costume (headpiece, backpack (where applicable), bodysuit, arm and foot pieces)

  • Comnplimentary T-shirt

  • Hosiery

  • Goody bag

  • Entertainment provided by Shaw HP the Band

  • Light breakfast before the parade

  • Mobile bar with unlimited drinks on the parade route

  • Portable restroom

  • Food after the parade

  • Beach party the day after

How do I pay for my costume?

We accept cash (after registration has been confirmed) and payments (Credit/Debit Cards) via PayPal online through our registration page.

Checks are not accepted.

How will I know if my spot has been secured?

After submitting your online application, you will receive a receipt via email.

Persons paying only their deposit will receive an invoice for the balance due. If you do not receive a receipt, please contact us at info@infernostroupe.com.

I was not able to register, can I be placed on a waiting list?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a waitlist option. Once a section has been closed, it will not re-open. We welcome you to register in any of the remaining available sections.

When do I need to pay for my costume?

Costume deadlines will be disclosed after launching.  Members can also make payments at the Infernos Mas Camp (Cash only) and to their invoices via their online account.

Does Infernos Carnival have a dance routine?

It has been a long standing tradition that the ICT demonstrates a dance performance at various points of the parade route. (Market Square and Post Office Square) Member participation is optional.

Should members want to participate and would like to learn the routine, we will announce when members can sign up.

When can I collect my costume?

The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all members, posted to our website, and on our social media pages. Costumes are released to members whose accounts have been paid in full.

The final date of costume distribution is to be detemined. At that time, costumes not picked up will be placed for re-sale. We will always provide updates if any changes occur.

*COSTUMES ARE NOT SHIPPED OR DELIVERED.

What do I get at costume distribution?

You will receive your costume package.

An ICT staff member will review your costume and the contents of your goody bag to ensure you have received all items. Both ICT staff and the member will be required to sign a checklist acknowledging the exchange and delivery/receipt of items.

Once the member has left the mas camp, ICT is not responsible for the replacement of missing or damaged items unless it was previously acknowledged.

I am unable to collect my costume, can another person collect on my behalf?

Yes, they can.

The member will have to provide the person picking up the costume with written consent, along with a copy of the member's identification. The name on the identification MUST match the name on the member's application.

Only costumes with balances paid in full will be released.

I missed my collection date, what do I do?

Once distributions have been completed for all sections, ICT will announce a "last call" date for all sections to pick-up.

Costumes not picked up will be put for re-sale.

I’ve collected my costume but it does not fit?

Costumes are custom made items and orders are based on the measurements given at registration. Members are responsble for their own adjustments and fittings after their costume has been picked up.

What time does the Adult’s Parade begin?

The Adult's Parade begins at 10am.

Where will Infernos Carnival Troupe meet on the parade route?

Members are asked to pay attention to their emails, our website and to our social media platforms. That information will be relayed closer to parade day.

Do we know our number placement in the parade?

Numbers are assigned closer to Carnival however, the number does not indicate placement. It indicates that we are registered with the Division of Fesitivals to participate in the parade.

Please adhere to timeline requests as they are given by the troupe leader. Once instructed by the Parade Marshals to move along while on the parade route, ICT will follow those directives regardless of time of day.

Can my husband/wife/child jump in on the route?

ICT only allows paying members to participate.  Non-members may observe from the sidelines outside the troupe.

Please note, adult's parade participants are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age and must be registered with the organization to mingle on the parade route.

What is the Infernos Carnival Troupe’s refund policy?

Costumes are non-refundable.

Infernos Carnival Troupe's carnival costumes are CUSTOM MADE ITEMS therefore, once registration is complete, there will be NO EXCHANGING/SWITCHING of sections. NO REFUND OF DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS and NO ADDITIONAL CHANGES TO MEASUREMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Deposits and costume payments are NON-TRANSFERABLE.‎
